This is where the build comes together. We are hiring for two key field roles that work together to bring our precast buildings to life:

  • Precast Concrete Installation Crew Member
  • Structural Grouting & Patching Crew Member

Position Summaries:

As a Precast Concrete Installation Crew Member, you’ll help erect precast concrete components on commercial, industrial, multi story, and agricultural sites. You’ll work closely with a crew of 3–5 people to safely install large panels, assist crane operations, and support the overall progress of each project. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands on, fast paced work and likes seeing structures take shape in real time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the site for precast panel placement
  • Assist with rigging and signaling for crane operations
  • Support the safe installation of large precast components
  • Perform tasks that contribute to daily construction progress
  • Follow all safety procedures and company standards
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with the site crew

As a Structural Grouting & Patching Crew Member, you’ll prepare, finish, and seal the joints and seams between precast panels to ensure durability, weather protection, and a clean final appearance. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys detailed craftsmanship and takes pride in producing high quality finishing work that contributes to the long term performance of each structure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mix and apply grout, caulking, and sealants to panel joints
  • Inspect and repair imperfections such as gaps, bubbles, or cracks
  • Patch and finish damaged areas on precast panels
  • Operate grinders, hand tools, lifts, and scaffolding safely
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
  • Work closely with the foreman and crew to meet quality standards

We are seeking candidates with construction experience and the ability to perform a variety of physically intensive duties including lifting, bending, kneeling, working from heights, using hand/power tools, and being on your feet for long periods of time.

Requirements:

  • Applicants successful in the interview process will be asked to complete a pre-employment assessment as part of the final hiring process
  • Valid Standard First Aid, Aerial Work Platform, and Fall Protection
  • Valid Class 5 license and reliable transportation
  • Available to work away from home Monday - Friday, occasional Saturday
  • Minimum 44 - 50 hours per week
  • Physically fit with the ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have an eye for detail, color matching, and a creative mindset
  • Ability to work at heights with proper safety restraints
  • Proficient English communication skills to receive and relay information to and from crew members, foremen, and supervisors
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Local or willing to relocate to Central Alberta Assets
  • Experience with precast installation, grouting or concrete finishing
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Experience using small equipment |Ex: skid steer, zoom boom, and aerial work platforms
  • CSTS certification
