Administrative Support - Insurance and Pensions

Saskatoon, SK, Canada Full Time

Position Overview:

As an Administrative Assistant – Group Insurance & Pension based out of our Saskatoon office, you will support our Licensed Advisors and Service Representatives by providing exceptional administrative and client service. You will assist with the day-to-day administration of group insurance and pension plans as well as providing backup support for SGI Motor Vehicle Licensing services and Reception duties as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Licensed Advisors with the administration of group insurance and pension plans
  • Follow up on outstanding documentation and maintain accurate client records
  • Respond to client inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
  • Provide backup support for SGI Motor Vehicle Licensing services, including registrations, renewals, transfers, driver's licenses, permits, and insurance transactions
  • Verify documentation and process payments in accordance with SGI regulations
  • Maintain electronic and paper filing systems while ensuring confidentiality
  • Maintain departmental procedures and process documentation
  • Perform reception duties, including answering phones, greeting visitors
  • Collaborate with advisors and team members to support efficient service delivery
  • Other duties as required

Educational Requirements

  • Office or Administrative Certificate or Diploma, or two years’ experience working in an office environment
  • Experience or knowledge of group benefits and pension plans would be considered an asset
  • IBAS Auto Part I (Basic) course or the SGI New Issuer Training (NIT) program to be completed within 3 months of employment
