Position Overview:
As an Administrative Assistant – Group Insurance & Pension based out of our Saskatoon office, you will support our Licensed Advisors and Service Representatives by providing exceptional administrative and client service. You will assist with the day-to-day administration of group insurance and pension plans as well as providing backup support for SGI Motor Vehicle Licensing services and Reception duties as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Licensed Advisors with the administration of group insurance and pension plans
- Follow up on outstanding documentation and maintain accurate client records
- Respond to client inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
- Provide backup support for SGI Motor Vehicle Licensing services, including registrations, renewals, transfers, driver's licenses, permits, and insurance transactions
- Verify documentation and process payments in accordance with SGI regulations
- Maintain electronic and paper filing systems while ensuring confidentiality
- Maintain departmental procedures and process documentation
- Perform reception duties, including answering phones, greeting visitors
- Collaborate with advisors and team members to support efficient service delivery
- Other duties as required

Educational Requirements
- Office or Administrative Certificate or Diploma, or two years’ experience working in an office environment
- Experience or knowledge of group benefits and pension plans would be considered an asset
- IBAS Auto Part I (Basic) course or the SGI New Issuer Training (NIT) program to be completed within 3 months of employment
