CNC Technician

Join Our Team! We are looking for motivated CNC Technicians to join our manufacturing team. Whether you are starting your machining career or have experience operating CNC equipment, this is an excellent opportunity to work in a safe, team-oriented environment while developing your technical skills.

Location: Calgary, AB (NE Area)

What You'll Do:

As a CNC Technician (Level 1), you will safely operate CNC lathes and/or CNC mills to produce high-quality precision parts. Working closely with experienced team members, you will help ensure products meet quality standards while supporting efficient production.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Safely operate CNC lathes and/or CNC mills following established procedures.
  • Load and unload raw materials and finished parts.
  • Perform basic machine and tooling inspections before operation.
  • Monitor machine performance and identify issues or abnormalities.
  • Measure and inspect parts to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Replace inserts and perform basic troubleshooting as required.
  • Deburr, mark, and prepare finished parts for the next stage of production.
  • Maintain accurate material counts and production records.
  • Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.
  • Follow all company health, safety, and quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.

What We're Looking For:

  • Mechanical aptitude and an interest in manufacturing.
  • Ability to read and use measuring tools (or willingness to learn).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work safely and follow established procedures.
  • Reliable, dependable, and able to work as part of a team.
  • Previous CNC or manufacturing experience is an asset but not required (depending on hiring needs).
